Circus Expo e Caffè letterario a tema circense: al via le candidature

Nella candidatura, oltre ai propri contatti, gli interessati dovranno precisare i dettagli utili a descrivere quanto intendano esporre o presentare. La partecipazione di artisti, autori ed espositori a “Circus Expo” ed al “Caffè letterario a tema circense” è libera e cioè non comporta oneri per chi vi partecipa, né comporta alcun compenso.

“Circus Expo” è lo spazio espositivo a tema circense, all’interno del quale fotografi, pittori, scultori, collezionisti, appassionati di modellismo ed artisti di varia estrazione possono esporre le proprie opere alla platea internazionale del Festival. La sedicesima edizione di “Circus Expo” aprirà i propri battenti dal 15 al 19 Ottobre nella cittadella del Circo allestita a Latina in occasione della 27^ edizione del Festival. Curatrice dell’Expo la Dottoressa Lucia Orlacchio, esperta in progettazione culturale. Il progetto anche quest’anno ha lo scopo di presentare all’opinione pubblica i numerosi volti della cultura circense e, più in generale, dello spettacolo dal vivo nelle più differenti modalità espressive delle arti e della comunicazione, potendo così estendere ad un pubblico sempre più ampio l’offerta culturale del Festival.

Il “Caffè letterario a tema circense” è una sorta di laboratorio di idee organizzato attorno ai tavolini di un caffè; qui è possibile sorseggiare una bevanda calda apprezzando lo sforzo letterario di autori che dal Circo si sono lasciati affascinare: è insospettabile la ricchezza della produzione letteraria ispirata o dedicata al mondo del Circo. Dalla narrativa alla poesia, dalla saggistica alla divulgazione di settore; numerose e spesso di particolare pregio sono le opere in commercio in Italia e nel mondo. Tale patrimonio, talora poco visibile negli scaffali delle librerie, merita senz’altro maggiore attenzione da parte del più vasto pubblico. International Circus Festival of Italy intende continuare a dare il proprio contributo in tale direzione inserendo nel proprio programma la tredicesima edizione del “Caffè letterario a tema circense” durante la quale gli autori potranno presentare i loro lavori. Il “Caffè letterario” si svolgerà Venerdì 16 Ottobre alle ore 18.00 nella cittadella del Circo allestita a Latina in occasione della 27^ edizione del Festival. Curatrice del “Caffè letterario” la brillante Dina Tomezzoli, giornalista di spettacolo e cultura e presentatrice di eventi.

Participation in ‘Circus Expo’ and ‘Literary Café’ is free: it costs nothing to take part and neither is there any kind of payment to participants.

‘Circus Expo’ is a dedicated Circus-themed exhibition space in which photographers, painters, sculptors, model enthusiasts, collectors, and artists of other genres may display their works to the International audience of the Festival. The 16th edition of ‘Circus Expo’ will run from October 15 - 19 within the structure of the 27th edition of the International Circus Festival of Italy. The coordinator of ‘Circus Expo’ is Lucia Orlacchio, expert in the planning of cultural projects. The aim of this event is to once again amplify the cultural aspect of the Festival by presenting and showcasing the numerous and varied effects that Circus culture, and live performance in general, can have in the media and in the creative arts, thus attracting an increasingly inclusive public towards the Festival and the Circus world in general.

The ‘Circus-themed Literary Café’ is a sort of informal ideas workshop where people can meet up around our coffee tables and enjoy a warm drink whilst enjoying the presentation of the literary works of authors who have been inspired by the Circus, covering works ranging from factual accounts to novels, and from poetry to dedicated periodicals: around the world there are many works of this nature available to buy, frequently of a very high standard. This literary heritage, often absent from the shelves of bookshops, deserves more attention from the general public. The 27th edition of the International Circus Festival of Italy continues to contribute to the diffusion of knowledge and awareness of the world of the Circus by including this 13th edition of our ‘Circus-themed Literary Café’ in its programme of additional events, providing a space for authors to present their latest works. This ‘Literary Café’ will take place at 6.00pm on Friday, October 16 within the foyer area of the 27th edition of the Festival. The presenter is the vibrant Dina Tomezzoli, an experienced journalist and presenter specialising in live performance and cultural events.
